We became family through unscripted living.

We met on the trail, through local homeschooling community. We fell for each other's parenting first, then for each other. No blueprints or fairy tales — just real humans stitching chosen family from chaos.

We rebuilt our lives together alongside our neighbors when hurricane Helene tore through in 2024. But the storms didn't stop there -- health crises, court ambushes, job losses, and targeted hate followed our queer family of 7 into the present.

Life has been brutal. But it's meant that our family culture has been forged out of hard-earned resilience + stubborn joy.

We're financially maxed but steadfast in our commitment to securing our family's peace.

We are working class people -- care workers and small business employees. We cater your weddings, collect your recycling, and make moving day smooth. Rock your babies and make sure you're comfy on your hardest days.

In between, we're raising our kids together and learning alongside them every day.

These paths haven't come with large bank accounts, but they have come with the best life insurance policies -- all the honest, humble, radically authentic people we've been lucky enough to cross paths with over the years.
