We're here. One patchwork family of seven, carving out a humble corner of the internet to call home.

This project we're naming Patchwork Kin is our family's handcrafted passion project, born from the incredible support our family & friends have shown us through unimaginably difficult times.

In 2024-2025, our families came together to endure Hurricane Helene, debilitating illness, & near-constant assaults on our peace. On top of everything, we were met with three separate, unexpected legal battles.

In 2026, we're headed back to the courtroom to keep fighting to protect our family. We're a working class family up against $40k+ in legal & expert fees, saving every hard-earned penny along the way.

We've got a daunting task before us, but we're not alone. We've got grandparents selling rare coins on eBay. Aunties sending cash for the light bill. Friends dropping soup on our doorstep.

We're building this online space to be a lot like our physical home -- chock full of warmth, stories, and solidarity. A place where chosen family stops by for a really good laugh.
